  April 23, 1985: Fairfax Police Officer Accidentally Shoots Fleeing Suspect after allegedly selling LSD to an undercover Fairfax County. The guy was unarmed. The cops shot him. The cops investigated. The public is not entitled to the result and that’s that.

 October 26, 1993: We don’t know the outcome of the police investigation of the following police involved shooting. It’s a secret. We don’t know what the victim had to say, he ‘s dead. We don’t know what witnesses said or if there were any witnesses. Fairfax Police shot and killed Jesus B. Arreaga, 41, of 7104 Fairchild Drive, in a stairwell at the Meadow Woods apartment complex, when the cops saw the handle of knife Arreaga had in his waistband, mistook it for a gun and shot him. 
November 3, 1993, Wednesday: We don’t know the outcome of the police investigation of this police involved shooting. It’s a secret.:   Knife-Wielding Man Slain By Fairfax Police Officers.  Michael Cleveland, 35, of Keeler Street in the Woodlawn area was shot and killed by police after he threatened to kill himself. The incident occurred as the result of a domestic dispute. It was the fifth time that year and the second time in the last week that county police have been involved in a shooting. 
 February 11, 2001 Sunday: Fairfax County police shot a Suitland man in the shoulder as they were executing a search warrant Friday night in the Woodlawn area of the county, police said yesterday. The man, identified as Jermaine Lott, 24, was shot about 9:30 p.m. after tactical and narcotics officers entered a home in the 7900 block of Seven Woods Drive, police said. As police were clearing a back room, Lott would not comply with an officer's directions, they said. ..so. of course, they shot him. Lott was unarmed.  We don’t know what witnesses said in this case, or if there were any witnesses 
 December 15, 2006 Friday:  We don’t know what witnesses said in this case, or if there were any witnesses.  This police involved shooting had been marked secret and the public are not entitled to know. The Fairfax County police who investigated the shooting by the Fairfax County Police determined that the shooting was warranted, although we don’t know. That’s also a secret. They unarmed guy who was shot isn’t talking. He’s dead:  airfax County police officer shot and killed a bank robbery suspect after the man shoved and fled from a police officer, fought off a police dog, resisted pepper spray and then reached into a backpack. The backpack carried by Edward R. Agurs Jr., 39, of Woodbridge contained money from the robbery committed minutes earlier at a Wachovia Bank branch on Richmond Highway in Fairfax, police said. It contained no gun.

Of course, if the county prosecutor conducted the investigation, we can all agree it was waste of time and money and the cops who gunned this guy were found innocent.:  Man killed in police shooting identified.  Fairfax County Police shot and killed David Michael Przewlocki after Police responded to a report of an apparent suicidal man at Summit Square Drive. Police found Przewlocki outside his apartment on the sidewalk threatening to kill himself with a gun. The cops shot him dead.
November 16, 2008 Sunday: …And what was the outcome of the investigation? Is there an actual gun? Who saw it besides the cops who shot the guy?  Why isn’t the police investigation of this police shooting public information? : Fairfax County police shot and wounded an armed man outside a restaurant at Tysons Galleria yesterday, police and witnesses said, but many details remained unclear last night.  At 12:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a disorderly man on an upper-level parking deck and confronted him, said Officer Shelley Broderick, a police spokeswoman. The man failed to follow the officers' commands and made a movement toward a gun in his waistband, she said. The cops fired once, striking the man in the lower body, she said. The man, whom police declined to identify, was taken to Inova Fairfax Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, they said.
